This blog is where I share what I’m building—and try to write better English, one post at a time.
June 1, 2025
Hi, and welcome to my blog.
My name is Soji. I work as a UI designer at a web-based IT company in Japan, and on the side, I love developing apps for iPadOS, iOS, and macOS. One day, I hope to turn that passion into something bigger—maybe even a business of my own.
So, why this blog?
I’ve always wanted to write more about what I do—about UI/UX design, about the tools I use, about building things with Swift, about what it means to create something that’s not just functional, but thoughtful. But there’s one problem:
I’m not confident in my English.
That’s where ChatGPT comes in. I use it to help organize my thoughts, fix grammar, and explain things more naturally. English isn’t my first language, and honestly, writing in English feels like coding in a language I haven’t mastered yet. But I still want to share what I’m working on, and what I’ve learned so far. Using ChatGPT helps me focus on the content without getting completely stuck on the wording.
That said, I’m not trying to hide behind AI. If something sounds a bit off or too formal, it’s probably because I’m still learning how to make my voice come through in English. This blog is part of that process—writing to improve, and sharing as I go.
Here’s what you can expect from this blog:
I don’t have all the answers—but I care deeply about the quality of what I make, and I believe in making tools that free people to think and create. That idea—freedom through good tools—is at the heart of everything I build.
Thanks for reading. I hope this blog can be useful to others, and I hope it helps me grow, too.
See you in the next post.
