# Crabwise doesn't appear in the Share menu

This article explains what to do if Crabwise doesn't appear in the Share menu in Safari or another app, or if sharing doesn't add anything. For Crabwise to show in the Share menu, its sharing extension must be turned on in System Settings.

Open :ui[System Settings] and go to :ui[General] > :ui[Login Items & Extensions]. Find the sharing entry in the list of extensions and turn on Crabwise.

:::option{title="Check that you're sharing something Crabwise can add"}
From the Share menu you can add a web page address or a video file. Images and PDFs can't be added. If you see "This share does not contain a webpage address or a movie file.", open the page you want to addve and share it again.

If you see "Too many links are waiting to be added. Open Crabwise, then try again.", open Crabwise and wait for the waiting links to be added. If no library is open, links are added the next time you open one.
