Tsubo and pyeong use the same conversion value. Only their names and symbols differ.

Jo uses 1.62 m² per tatami mat, as specified by Japan's fair competition rules for real estate advertising. The displayed number of tatami mats is the room's area divided by 1.62. It isn't the number of physical mats that fit in the room.

## Convert lengths

Lengths are displayed in meters or feet. One foot is 0.3048 m, and one inch is 0.0254 m. Displays such as room tiles round to the nearest inch when using feet and inches.
