# Delete a room

Select a room in the floor plan window, then tap :ui[Delete Room] in the inspector.

## Delete a room

1. In the floor plan window, tap the room you want to delete.
2. Tap :ui[Delete Room] in the inspector.

You can also pinch and hold a room tile and choose :ui[Delete] from the menu. No confirmation appears, and you can't undo the deletion.

## When only one room is left

A floor plan needs at least one room, so :ui[Delete Room] is unavailable when only one room is left. To use that room for something else, change it as described in [Change a room's name and kind](https://soji.dev/en/madoriwalk/support/rooms/room-name-kind.md), or add a room first and then delete the one you don't need.
