This article explains what to do if the inspector's plus or minus stepper buttons are disabled, dragging a handle doesn't resize a room, or displayed dimensions differ from what you entered. Check the size limits and rounding.

Width and depth each range from 1.5 m to 15 m. A room can't grow or shrink beyond those limits. Entered values align to 0.1 m increments and to neighboring edges within 0.2 m.

:::option{title="Check the current width and depth"}
1. Select the room and look at :ui[Dimensions] in the inspector.
2. Check whether :ui[Width] or :ui[Depth] is 1.5 m or 15 m.

A dimension of 1.5 m can't shrink further, and 15 m can't grow further. In feet and inches, the limits are about 4.9 ft and 49.2 ft.
:::

:::option{title="Enter values in 0.1 m increments"}
Entered values round to 0.1 m increments. Entering 4.55 m gives a nearby value such as 4.6 m. Values that place an edge within 0.2 m of a neighboring edge align with it. Enter values that match the increment.
:::

:::option{title="Drag the handle again"}
Handles appear only on the selected room. Tap the room, wait for handles on its four edges, then pinch and drag a handle. At a size limit, dragging it won't change the size.
:::

To make a large size change, use a handle for a rough adjustment first, then refine it with numbers in the inspector.

If the problem continues, include:

- The room's width and depth and the value you tried to use
- Which dimension's stepper is disabled: width or depth
- The length unit setting: meters or feet and inches
- Your Madori Walk version
