Goldtake Privacy Policy

Data collection
Goldtake does not send your recordings, performance data, or app usage information to the developer. No account is required. Goldtake does not display ads, track you for advertising purposes, or sell personal information. Goldtake does not collect personal data, and the developer does not store or retain any of it on its servers.
Data storage
Recorded videos, MIDI performance data, audio rendered with the in-app piano sound, and take edit settings are stored on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes this data. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, this data may be included in the backup according to your backup settings.
Camera, microphone, and Bluetooth
Goldtake uses the camera and microphone to record video and sound of your performance when you start recording. It uses Bluetooth to connect to Bluetooth MIDI keyboards. Each is used only with your permission in the system settings, and none of the video, sound, or performance information is sent to the developer.
Exporting and sharing
Videos, audio, and MIDI files you export are handed to the app or location you choose in the share sheet. That app or service’s privacy policy applies to how it handles them.
Additional piano sounds
When you choose an additional piano sound, its data is downloaded from Apple’s servers through the App Store. Goldtake does not connect to the developer’s servers or the sound’s author’s servers.
Purchases
Purchases and billing for Goldtake Pro are handled by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment information. Goldtake checks your purchase status with the App Store on your device.
Information handled by Apple
Depending on your device’s analytics sharing settings, information about problems may be sent to Apple, and the developer may see anonymized, aggregated information. Goldtake does not collect or send problem reports on its own.
Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to information handled by Apple through the App Store and the operating system.
